If you are looking for calm with a superb view so our house is for you. She is located in top of Punta Montgo and overhangs the sea at 180°. You can see the village of l’Escala, Sant-Pere Pescador, Empuria Brava, Rosas and Cadaques.

Take the stairs through the Montgo’s hill and you will arrive in few minutes at the beach, one of the most famous of l’Escala..

For divers, a diving club is located at the entrance of Montgo, just 5 minutes from our house. You can reserve diving from April to October to discover beauties of Costa Brava’s undersea. There is also a diving school there.

If you like history, at ten minutes by car do not miss going to the ruins of Empurias which will show you how Romains were lived in Spain B.C. After your visit, go to the beach of Empurias where ruins walls are still upright.

Typical little train will bring you in a few minutes from Montgo to l’Escala and Empurias.

Finally, do not forget to visit the Dali’s museum at Figueres and his house at Cadaques. Both are approx.30 kms each from l’Escala.
